I was thinking

I was watching the Nickleback music video for Never Gonna Be Alone and it got me thinking.

There is going to be a time when your going to die. Maybe that moment comes fast and is unexpected maybe you've lived your life well and is good. You just have to live your life like it's the last day, maybe not going crazy trying to climb the Eiffle Tower, but, you know, try to live your life to the fullest.

The music video hilights the most important parts of a life; when you're a kid learning how to ride your bike, to a girl's first date with her boyfriend, to graduation and finally a girl getting married to her husband.

It's the same girl throughout the video. It shows those four things backwards and her father is there the whole time. Then it shows the father's funeral when the girl is still pretty small. Then it goes back through the events showing the father as a "spirit" that eventually disappears in the end leaving the spot empty.

This got me thinking about life in general, and many things I wouldn't be happy to leave.

What do you think? Leave a comment below.

  1. If I die soon I'll be very sad because there are just so many things I haven't done yet. But I think I'll feel complete knowing that I at least tried to live life to its fullest. I honestly just can't seem to grasp the concept of dying though. Will I still feel the way I do or will it be like when you're sleeping. Do you know those feelings? I hope it makes sense.
