Familiar Origins REVIEW

Title: Familiar Origins
Author: B. Pine
Release date:  January 19th, 2011
Rating:  5/5
Publisher: Silver Leaf Books
Book Summary:
In a universe where dragons are supreme sentient beings, divination rituals and knowledge of human magical evolution has led to the belief that eight humans will be born with extraordinary supernatural abilities that will give them the power to challenge dragons. Divided into two factions-the Draca Debellos: conquerors of worlds to fuel their powerful magic, and the Draca Tueri: protectors of the worlds and their sentient beings-they tirelessly search for these gifted children to train and bond with to help in their eternal struggle and attempt to end their tenuous deadlock. Both sides are aware of how dangerously powerful they are due to their understanding and mastery of nature, magic, and science; following a rigid code of conduct. But they are also aware that their Creator has worked into the nature of the universe an anomaly-a balancing feature that can lead to the extinction of the entire dragon race. The key to overcoming the balance between Draca and the key to victory lies in the existence of these eight special humans. These humans have different combinations of powers based on the existing types of magic-psychic talents, spellcasting abilities, spiritual summoning, and elemental control. Beyond their magical abilities, what makes these eight particular humans so special is their unique ability to bond with dragons in a way that could provide both dragon and human with powers and benefits yet unknown by either race. Both Draca factions wish for nothing more than to bond with one of these special humans and tilt the balance of power in their favor. After centuries of searching and waiting, these eight predestined humans have now all been born-humans with the power to challenge the Draca and hold the fate of the world within their hearts and minds.Follow the adventures, struggles, and development of these humans who have their innocence shattered at a tender age while trying to learn to live under the influence of powerful beings wishing to use them for their own ends, and growing up in a world of tragedy and horror, betrayal and deception.
Review:

Imagine being a five- to ten-year-old kid and being burdened with a "war" that you don't even know about. Now, imagine that this "war" involves dragons. This book is just the beginning, following most of the eight kids' lives as they learn what their powers are and about the dragons.

I absolutely love it.

It takes the time to go through each child's lives as they grow up from children. It shows the events that shape them and make them who they are.

It's very daring.

I haven't read a book that takes the time to lead you though each character's memories instead of just mentioning them; or, if the memory is extremely important, shown as a flash back.

I congratulate B. Pine in taking such risks and presenting them beautifully with wonderful descriptions of places, thoughts, feelings, etc. I fell in love with the book from the first page when I found that it started off in a dragon's point of view. :D

I highly recommend this book to all of those adventurers, lovers of fantasy, and generally anyone that loves a good story plot! I can't wait for the next installment. I'm sure it will be just as magnificent.

Socialpunk by Monica Leonelle Review

Title: Socialpunk
Author: Monica Leonelle
Release date: March 27th 2012
Rating: 5/5
Publisher: Spaulding House
Book Summary:

Ima would give anything to escape The Dome and learn what’s beyond its barriers, but the Chicago government has kept all its citizens on lockdown ever since the Scorched Years left most of the world a desert wasteland. When a mysterious group of hooded figures enters the city unexpectedly, Ima uncovers a plot to destroy The Dome and is given the choice between escaping to a new, dangerous city or staying behind and fighting a battle she can never win.

Review:

You would think that the future would be better than it is today. But for Ima, her "present day" is anything else but. Ima's Earth has become unlivable after the Scorched Years which forced the population of the world to live in domes. In this action packed novel the reader is thrusted into a world foreign yet intriguing!

Right from the prologue I was intrigued and sucked into the marvels that Socialpunk had to offer. I was enveloped by a futuristic world that piked my interest. Leonelle's characters came to life in front of me and her beautiful prose made the world appear in my mind perfectly. I know that if I had enough free time to just sit and read the book I would have finished it in a day; never having put it down until it was done!

The ending left me on the ultimate cliff hanger and I wish there was more after it, but that's what the next book is for right? Another 100+ pages of awesome?! Haha. Thankfully I can continue rooting for the person I'm roothing for through the next book. ;D

I can't wait to get my hands on the next two books Socialmob and Socialhood. I know both of these following books will be just as amazing as the first.

Thank you Monica for allowing me to read and review it! It's been amazing and I hope we can continue to keep in touch!

Author Interview: Laura Kreitzer on FORSAKEN HARBOR

Here I have Laura Kreitzerauthor of PHANTOM UNIVERSE! Here are some questions that I asked about her new novel FORSAKEN HARBOR!

1. Why did you decide to make the prologue in Julian's point of view?

Julian ended Phantom Universe , so I felt it was necessary for him to start Forsaken Harbor. Also, his story will unfold in this second book, and you’ll see many chapters in his point of view. He becomes a new person in Summer’s life, and her reactions to his introduction show her growth from the silent girl on the Cosmos to who she is now.

2. If you could describe Gage in one word what would it be? Summer? Why?

Gage: integrity, because he is honest and has valor when it comes to Summer and those he cares for. He tries to do what’s right even when others criticize him for it.

Summer: courageous, because in the face of all that she’s been through, she’s come out stronger and overcome many of the issues she’s faced with her PTSD.

3. Why did you choose to add the "Recording"? Is this super important to the book that your readers should keep it in the back of their mind while they're reading?

I added the recordings because they are vital and important to the novel. Readers will find out their meaning and significance at the end. They’ll have to read to find out.

4. Who would you say is the organization, the Society? A group of evil scientists trying to take over, or something more?

The Secret Clock Society is a group of scientists who have been creating and experimenting on projects for years, all in the hopes of one day traveling time and creating their own world sans government influence and interference. The Society doesn’t want to take over, exactly, they want Summer to travel forward in time to steal technology of the future, then send them back in the past to start their own civilization with their other creations. Would I call them mad scientists? Yes.

5. What made you decide to set a book in this futuristic world?

To be honest, I wanted a time traveler (Summer), but I didn’t want to do the research into historical aspects of earlier time periods. Actually, I enjoy creating my own worlds like the one with the Canadian Federation, including the technology of the future.

Thanks for having me on your blog!

FANFARE by Renee Ahdieh

Title: FANFARE (Picture of the cover won't post)
Author: Renee Ahdieh
Release date: May 13th, 2011
Rating: 5/5
Publisher: Revolution Publishing
Book Summary:

Review:

"It's anti-capitalistic to love someone" -Cris Pereira

When life gives you lemons, you make orange juice. Life was well and wonderful for Cris, but the the reality fell harder than ever. When her fiancée breaks of their engagement Cris is hurt beyond repair. . . Then she meets Tom. Can he change it all or is she going to end up locking herself in? It's not the average love story. ;D

I was so happy to find out that the MC was a Latina. THANK YOU. I haven't read a book yet that's had the MC as a Latina and let me tell you, I'm loving it. I'm a Latina myself and I just immediately fell in love with Cris. She's snappy, she's crazy, she's strong and determined. She's a great Female MC.

Renne Ahdieh's writing style is extremely SUPERB. I loved it very much. Just they way the words flowed and the way it just grasped your attention the minute you read it just was amazing. It's been a while since I've read a good contemporary fiction novel that has no vampires, no raising of the dead, no secret powers. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

I was glad that at time I was laughing outloud to some of Cris' thoughts. They seemed so normal it was jut really funny.

I can say I really enjoyed this book from cover to cover.

Cris Pereira hates starring in a cautionary tale. Alas, her recent heartbreak relegates her to this unbecoming fate. The only good thing about being dumped a foot from the altar is the newest layer to her punchy sarcasm. All she wants is a do-over, but this is not your average fairy tale, and wishes don't come true in the real world.
One Sunday afternoon, she meets a movie star. Tom Abramson is intelligent, charming, and impetuous. In other words, he plays the role a bit too well. She isn’t falling for it. She knows better. All British men are not descendants of Fitzwilliam Darcy, and movie stars are genetic mutations gone awry: X-Men with statistical disadvantages and emotional handicaps. Keep your knight in shining armor. A modern girl can rescue herself, thank you very much. After all, dreams are for the foolhardy, nightmares are just a part of life, and . . . this is not your average fairy tale.

Review:
I. Loved. It.

Can I just leave it like that? No. I can't. I need to TELL you why I loved it.

When I first opened the book and started reading I honestly thought I was not going to like it. I thought that the people who told me it ws good were wrong and that I had just started a book that I was going to write a bad review on (An example of that happening will have to be Hacking Timbuktu. Read my review and find out what I mean. -_-).

Once I pushed past the "boring first chapters" I fell in love.

It's an amazing book that involves a really powerful message (or did I just infer that?).

It takes you away. You want to find out what happens with her and her friends, her family and it even leaves you happy about what happened with Weasly. (I loved the ending :D)

I totally recommend this book for everyone who has free time and wants to read a really, really good book!

But, in a post-9/11 security-obssessed world, "secured" doesn't just refer to borders between countries, it also refer to borders between states. Teenagers still think they know everything, but there is no cure for cancer, as Kelsa knows first-hand from watching her father die.
The night Kelsa buries her father, a boy appears. He claims magic is responsible for the health of Earth, but human damage disrupts its flow. The planet is dying.
Kelsa has the power to reverse the damage, but first she must accept that magic exists and see beyond her own pain in order to heal the planet.

Review: (I have to be careful about spoilers)
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. No lie.

The minute the "mysterious boy" came into the picture I was swept away. I loved his personality and I loved Kelsa's too. The personalities would clash, but they also could co-exsist peacefully. :D They flowed together.

Kelsa was strong and--even though she can be cautious sometimes--brave. Raven(mystery boy) can be laid back and over confident. Though you fall in love with him the minute you start to get to know him. :D

It was action and it was adventure. Breaking rules and following them. Up and down. =D

For anyone who loves scifi and having a glimpse into the future this book is definately for you.

Interview with Hilari Bell coming soon :D

Eragon

Title: Eragon
Author: Christopher Paolini
Release date: 2003
Rating: 5/5
Publisher: Alfred A. Knopf New York
Book Summary(Goodreads): Fifteen-year-old Eragon believes that he is merely a poor farm boy—until his destiny as a Dragon Rider is revealed. Gifted with only an ancient sword, a loyal dragon, and sage advice from an old storyteller, Eragon is soon swept into a dangerous tapestry of magic, glory, and power. Now his choices could save—or destroy—the Empire.
Review:
I. Loved. It.

It was a beautiful book about Dragon and Rider. I got hooked on the first sentence of the Prologue!

The way it starts is, the boy, Eragon, is out hunting for food for his family. He finds a rare blue stone--which is later said to be a dragon egg. During the night his "stone" starts moving and shaking then opens up revealing the blue hatchling Saphira. The connection is made there, when Eragon pets her and they become Dragon and Rider.

As soon as Saphira is old enough--and big enough!-- to fly they set out on a perilous journey to take revenge on the people who've killed Eragon's uncle. Then The Journey Begins.

I've been in love with dragons before this book and this one made me love them even more!

Magic, dragons, mysteries, and Dwarves! This book is amazing and highly recommend it :D It could be as a stand alone book or you can read its companion books ELDEST and BRISINGER.

The Wave

Title: The Wave
Publisher: Laurel-Leaf Books
Author: Todd Strasser
Rating: 5/5
Summary: The Wave is based on an incident that took place in a high school history class in Palo, Alto, California, in 1969.

Ben Ross and his history class are about to learn a lesson they will never forget.

As they study World War II, Ben Ross's students can't seem to understand how the German people could have followed Hitler and the Nazis. So Mr. Ross creates an experimental movement called The Wave. What begins in a single class room quickly gathers momentum. Before the end of the week, The Wave's motto, "Strength Through Discipline, Strength Through Community, Strength Through Action," governs the entire school. Only two students, Laurie Saunders and David Collins, recognize The Wave for what it is and set out to stop it before it's too late. But it history destined to repeat itself?

Review:

Based on a true story, The Wave is an empowering story of this high school.

To me, this story gives out a great message on being independant and don't follow what one 'leader' says just because it makes your life easier and you don't have to make decisions. Everyone has the freedom to decide what to do.

This book also gives the reasons why the Nazis just turned their heads and looked away during WWII. It's the perfect book to learn something about what could of happened during the whole Nazi thing.

During the book you follow a jock named David Collins, a good student named Laurie Saunders, their teacher Ben Ross and you see a character named Robert Billings the class nerd and loser.

This would be a great book for a history classroom or even a language arts class room because it will strike up a lot of conversation indeed.

Iron Daughter

Ok, the reason I haven't posted all week was because I was with my family in Mexico. But, I'm back now and ready to write the review :D

Title: Iron Daughter
Author: Julie Kagawa
Rating: 5/5
Publisher: Harlequin Teen
Summary: Half Summer faery princess, half human, Meghan has never fit in anywhere. Deserted by the Winter prince she thought loved her, she is prisoner to the Winter faery queen. As war looms between Summer and Winter, Meghan knows that the real danger comes from the Iron Fey, iron-bound faeries that only she and her absent prince have seen. But no one believes her. Worse, Meghan's own fey powers have been cut off. She's alone in Faery with only her wits for help. Trusting anyone would be foolish. Trusting a seeming traitor could be deadly. But even as she grows a backbone of iron, Meghan can't help but hear the whispers of longing in her all-too-human heart.
Review:
Thankfully this book is now added to my growing list of books I enjoyed. Yay! Ok, now to the real review.

The thrilling excitement that came from Iron King is increased during it's companion the Iron Daughter. Julie Kagawa's words make the story flow to a beautiful ending (which I am not spoiling :D).

Different sides of Ash and Puck are shown in this book. Ash's nicer side and his colder side. Puck's charms and his seriousness. These two sides of these characters make the story come alive more. You don't know if they're acting or if everything is real.

I don't want to reveal too much of this book before August 1st, but just saying, get ready to be pissed/annoyed/having the feeling to punch (at) Grimalkin. Just saying.

Now I am eagerly waiting her third book IRON QUEEN. May it be as great as these :)

The Red Pyramid

Title: The Red Pyramid
Publisher: Disney Hyperion
Author: Rick Riordan (Author of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series)
Rating: 5/5
Summary on inside cover of book: Since his mother's death six years ago, Carter Kane has been living out of a suitcase, traveling the globe with his father, the brilliant Egyptologist Dr. Julius Kane. But while Carter's been homeschooled, his younger sister, Sadie, has been living with their grandparents in London. Sadie has just what Carter wants - school friends and a chance at a "normal" life. But Carter has jut what Sadie longs for - time with their father. After six years of living apart, the siblings have almost nothing in common. Until now.

On Christmas Eve, Sadie and Carter are reunited when their father brings them to the British Museum, with a promise that he's going to "make things right." Byt all does not go according to plan: Carter and Sadie watch as Juluis summons a mysterious figure, who quickly banishes their father and causes a fiery explosion.

Soon Carter and Sadie discover that the gods of Ancient Eygpt are walking, and the worst of them -Set- has a frightening scheme. To save their father, they must embark on a dangerous journey - a quest that brings them ever closer to the truth about their family and its links to the House of Life, a secret order that has exsisted since the time of the pharaos.

Review:

If I had to explain this book in one word, it would be: amazing. The adventure of Carter and Sadie Kane is intense and leaves you wanting more of the Kane Chronicles. Rick Riordan tells Ancient Eygptian mythology in a brand new way.

I love the way this book was written. It's Carter and Sadie's P.O.V alternating back and forth every two chapters. The story is written as if it was published off a recording. It has comedy and suspense that leaves you tearning the pages wanting to find out what happens. I couldn't put this book down. I sat reading this hoping that it wouldn't end, and when it did, I sat there dazed and hoping that Rick Riordan would release his next book soon.

This story had a great plot and climax and the pace was set just right, not too fast, not too slow.

I highly recommend picking this book up though I would read the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series first because during the first chapters, when they question why they're in Brooklyn, one of the characters hints that there are "other gods" that lived in Manhattan.

Thank you

Spells

My late post, but here it is in it's new format.

Title: Spells
Publisher: Haperteen
Author: Aprilynn Pike
Rating: 5/5
Summary on back (or in this case inside cover) of the book: Although Laurel has come to accept her true identity as a faerie, she refuses to turn her back on her human life - and especially her boyfriend, David - to return to the faerie world.

But, when she is summond to Avalon, Laurel's feelings for the charismatic faerie sentry Tamini are undeniable. She is forced to make a choice - a choice that may break her heart.

Review:

In this compelling tale that is a companion to WINGS - that I will re-read and review - Aprilynn Pike shows Laurel's two worlds, the human side and the faerie side.

She returns to Avalon after so many years and stays to study for a few weeks. She studies 24/7 in order to get everything just right. She learns many different things like, potions and different uses for different plants, in order to protect herself against the trolls - most specifically, Barnes.

She later meets Klea whom she doesn't trust though she has saved Laurel's life...twice. But, who would trust someone who randomly shows up and is a monster slayer?

Laurel's journey of love and action is continued perfectly with this book. I highly suggest you pick this one up if you've read WINGS.

RANT WITH SPOILERS

David and Tamini. What can I say about them...? I love Tamini. I don't know who David thinks he is getting all buff and...stuff. Tamini should've been with Laurel the whole time not David. Tamini has been Laurel's sentry for years and yet, David, whose only know her for, a year? thinks he can waltz in and just take her.

Tamini is sweet and caring. David annoys me, because he doesn't trust Laurel being alone with Tamini. What does David think Tamini's going to do? Erase her memory about him and have her stay in the faerie world? Tamini would never do that. He hated doing that even when her memory was already wiped.

Nothing happened between Tamini and Laurel when they were alone during the festival..well, except for the kiss =D. David should know, Tamini is a faerie on of her kind. But, no.. He has to make her life difficult and maker her choose.

RANT WITH SPOILERS OVER

I don't want to ruin the ending so I won't tell you who she chooses... She chooses Bob, yup Bob, because she hated David and just left him to be with Bob. Hehe, that really didn't happen, but a girl can have a laugh right?

Wicked Lovely

Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr

This story is about a girl named Aislinn that has the Sight which means she can see the invisible faeries that walk her city's streets. She has lived by three rules:

Rule #3 Don't stare at invisible faeries

Rule #2 Don't speak to invisible faeries

Rule #1 Don't ever attract their attention

Suddenly none of the rules that have kept Aislinn safe are working anymore, and everything is on the line: her freedom; her best friend, Seth; her life; everything.

This book is absolutely AMAZING and a real page turner. I couldn't put the book down and if I did I was forced to. I will say there are two teams that are going on here; Team Keenan and Team Seth.

Ever since I started the book I will definately hopefully always be Team Seth. (SPOILER) He's completely amazing in everyway when Keenan reminds me of a stalker. He follows Aislinn to school for crying out loud! He is way too persistant. Sure, he's the Summer King with bound powers and has to find the Summer Queen in order to regain all of them. Still, that doesn't give him any right to be a stalker...(SPOILER OVER)

Sorry.. Anyway, the captivating descriptions and inner conflict of Aislinn, Keenan and Donia make the story the way it is. I give props to Melissa Marr :DD

The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games written by Suzanne Collins publisher Scholastic

This book in my opinion is the best action/ romance story of the century! This book is absolutely amazing.

It takes place in a fictional North America where there are 13 12 districts. After a huge uprising these districts were forced to send in 2 tributes into the Hunger Games, a fight to the death where only one person can be left standing.

On reaping day Katniss and her friend Gale are just hanging out after hunting like they usually do. Then Katniss Everdeen's life changes when her sister, Primrose (also known as Prim xD), gets picked for these games. She volunteers to take her place as the tribute. Her and -the wonderful- Peeta Mellark are sent to these Hunger Games.

As the story goes on Peeta says that he is in love with Katniss which starts some inner conflict for her.

Then the Hunger Games begin.

SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOK

Ok, so I am Team Peeta there is no changing my mind about that. (Sorry for all you Gale fans) Peeta is absolutely amazing in every way. He bakes bread and frosts cookies and cakes. He's the perfect person to just talk to about anything and he will support you.

Sure, Peeta can't fight...much... but at least he knows how to use a knife, maybe it's because he's the baker's son and sometimes he needs to use a knife to cut something *shrugs* who knows. I admit he's not like Gale in that sense, Gale is the one who hunts and the one who knows how to set up snares to catch something.

Peeta, on the other hand, has never needed to use any of that because he has the burnt and stale bread that his father bakes to eat, while, Gale -and Katniss for that matter- have needed to know how to hunt to survive. So, this gives Gale the upper hand when it comes to hunting and fighting. It's not easy to learn how to be swift, silent and how to shoot an animal right in the eye in order not to damage the carcass. It's not meant to be learned in one day, it's meant to be learned over SEVERAL YEARS. As Harmony says "It's not like he could stab someone in the eye while spinning around in the air and doing a roundhouse kick."

Peeta is definitely not weak though. He can paint his skin to camouflage into the scenery. After all, that's what he did to keep himself alive when Cato cut his leg, right? Given that he was able to keep himself alive without even having to worry much about fighting while he was injured.

Peeta is also very convincing. He may persuade a crowd of people that blue is purple and purple is blue when everyone clearly knows it's the other way around. He can even tell you your name is Bob when your name is Williamina (don't ask one of my friends named her pig that, Harmony would know who I was talking about xD). SPOILER FOR CATCHING FIRE He persuaded everyone that Katniss was pregnant when in reality she's never even had a boyfriend (well except for Peeta) SPOILER OVER

Anyway, I'm not saying Gale is a bad guy, he isn't really, I'm just saying in my opinion that Peeta is better. Well, if you think about it, Gale had his chance before the Hunger Games to tell Katniss that he had feelings for her. It's his loss that he didn't say anything to her before the whole Katniss-Peeta thing happened. Then no one should blame Katniss for slowly falling in love with Peeta at all. Peeta is just the lovable guy that makes anyone fall in love with him easily.

SPOILER OVER

Think about it the next time you read Hunger Games or if you read this before you've read the book go to your local bookstore and pick it up to read it! Shame on you for not paying attention to the spoiler warning!

Sorry, I'm done...almost... You should really pay attention to that, I could have told you the whole freaking ending and you wouldn't have wanted to read the book.

Iron King

The Iron King by Julie Kagawa

This story is about a girl living a normal life...well almost normal... when her brother suddenly hurts her mother she doesn't know what to do. She later finds out from her best friend Robbie Goodfell that Ethan has been kidnapped by faeries and that its a changeling.

She later finds out she knows less about Robbie that she thought. Robbie is acutally Robin Goodfellow (Puck) from A Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespear and is a faery that will survive immortally as long as people rememeber him.

Her adventures begin when she steps through the trod to the Nevernever. After a few days there she meets the Prince of the Unseelie Court Ash and she finds out the biggest secret that was never meant to be told. This story has romance, and action and a whole lot of Ash (:

Has the adventure and fantasy elements that any person that loves make-believe to read and all the love and triangles that any love story reader would love. It's basically a one for all book unless you don't like either of these. This book leaves you hanging at the end and having you wanting more.
May I say that I think that the cover of this book is AMAZING. IRON DAUGHTER is even better :DD I'm so excited.

IRON DAUGHTER will be released on August 1st, 2010.

If you read or have read this book make sure to leave a comment if you are Team Puck or Team Ash.

I would love to hear your feedback(:

Peak

Peak by Roland Smith.

This book is about a boy named Peak that gets into trouble when he's caught climbing and tagging a skyscraper in New York City. Peak's long-lost father presents the opportunity to climb and summit Everest.

It's a great novel that has been told in Peak's own words. It's not a good read for someone who doesn't like a book with no "action" or "fantasy" to it.

It's the perfect book for a class to read in Middle or even High School.

At first this book does get boring when they don't do much but once they start getting to the summit is when everything get's a little more interesting.

To find out if Peak summits Everest or not pick up this book at a local bookstore.

As You Wish

As You Wish By Jackson Pearce.

This book has a girl named Viola who had just figured out that her boyfriend had been homosexual. She begins to become "invisible" because of that. This book has alternating chapters between Jinn and Viola giving you different sides of the scenes.

This story is great if you like the romance-y, part action-y. The relationships between the characters grow as the story progresses.

And don't turn this book down just because one of the characters is homosexual. He's not even a very major character, Jinn and Viola are, he's comes out every once and a while. There aren't even many parts that talk about that... sorry, ranting moment.

Anyway, the story is very great and very original. It mixes reality with fantasy in a very creative way. I highly recommend it.

The paranormal romance of her characters Grace and Sam. This story takes twistes and turns and dips that makes you keep turning the pages. I couldn't put this book down! This book is definately a better paranormal book then the Twilight Saga (no offense to Stephenie Meyer but it's true). Be sure to pick this book up in any bookstore in the YA section.

The companion book LINGER is going to be released on July 20th.

Be there or be square!! (:

Sister's Red

OK, so I know this blog is going to be for reviewing but I do have something to say about a book, does that count?

Anyway, on June 7th, 2010 Sister's Red by Jackson Pearce is going to come out into bookstores. This book is a re-telling of Little Red Riding Hood. It's a new twist on the classic story that everyone has come to know and love.

The two companion books are (2) SWEETLY and (3) FATHOMLESS

Be sure to check them out as soon as they're on the bookshelves.
